I have tried changing my email address to a comcast.net and a yahoo.com email address - and I have not received the email with the link to validate the email address, at both email addresses. As a result, I have been locked out of the members area.

Why is this?

I see your account seems to be updated and working fine with a gmail address... If you're still wanting to change it, please do so then reply here afterward and I'll manually update your account for you.

Hi Brian, sort of related.

I'm involved in an upgrade and that user needs to login here and get the latest vBadvanced under his domain. He cannot retrieve his password via email from this site.

I've confirmed this by logging out and trying to retrieve my own "lost password" no email ever shows up. I've waited 2 days patiently but I've got to get this update completed.

Any suggestions?

Lost password requests should be sent within a matter of minutes, if not seconds. Have you and the other member checked your spam folders?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes of course.

To get the job done I created a new account a day or so after posting the above message and the emails came directly as expected. I have not tried a password retrieve since.
