When you run the installer and choose Upgrade, it'll add the new entries to AdminCP.

It's such an easy edit that I couldn't have missed it, anyway I did it again:
Then look in your forum/global.php file for this code:
Remove it, and add it just above this code:
This is it?
This doesn't work for me either. I can load my CMPS with the old code not edited out but the bottom is messed up. Without it..I get errors and nothing. I've tried both with global. Any ideas?

I've run the upgrade script and still do not see any changes in admin cp. I tried to run it again and it tells me that I'm allready running the most updated version. Any other suggestions?

So you don't have "Global vBadvanced Settings" when you go to AdminCP->vBa CMPS->Default Settings?

That is correct. Default settings opens the default settings window the same as it did before with "Main Options", "News Options", "Latest Thread Options", "poll Options", "Welcome Block Options", "Miscellaneous Options", and "Navigation Menu Options" sections of the window. I really appreciate your help!

Global vBadvanced Settings should be on the right in the main window at the top.

In the Main Options all I see is.
Page Variable
Enable Navbar?
Left Column Width
Right Column Width
Spacing Between Columns
Block Bullet
No Global vBadvanced settings anywhere.....
I ran the install script and upgraded.. Can I just do a template edit to show the new variables... they should be there because I uploaded the updated file into admincp.

Hmm I'm having the same problem too, no 'Global vBadvanced Settings' :(
I've run the upgrade script as well, uploaded the new files, and no changes at all... any idea, how to fix this?

I think the Upgrade Script doesn't update the Database, it only update the templates and pharses, thats why the 'Global vBadvanced Settings' isnt showing up on admincp, no?

If the settings for global variables doen't show, run the install script and put right after the .php this ?do=settings and after that just go back to your admin cp without taking the next step
This should work, it worked for me..

I have it working, but I am new at this and know nothing about php or templates etc.... What would I have to do to get some text to show up in the center custom area you provided? I changed the center column first module to "Welcome" but I don't know where to place my html.
Thanks
Brian
