Integration of Ushop/Ucash variables in CMPS module

What I would like to do is show a user how many points they have, and what gifts and ribbons they have (from two added hacks). The variables work in every other page I have tried in the forums, but have yet to work on a CMPS page. Can anyone tell me how to make this happen or if it is even possible. I have asked the ushop/ucash designers this question as well. Any help would be appreciated!!

If you're running v1.0.1 you can probably just add the variable names to your 'Portal Output Global Variables' setting.

I am hesitant to upgrade to 1.0.1 because I am new at this stuff and has taken me a while to get my board to where it is and I am afraid that if I do something like that I'll never get it back again. Is there another way or do you think I should bite the bullet and upgrade? Thanks!

If you're using 1.0.0 now, upgrading to 1.0.1 is a cinch.

Allright, I upgraded and your right ConqSoft everything was a cinch. Everything appears to be working, with the exception of images in vBarticles, but I think I remember seeing a fix for that. From here where and what do I add to make mod variables work in CMPS modules?
