CMPS and multiple vb sites?

I'm just getting ready to install CMPS on a stand alone site. I have not worked with it yet so I'm not real familiar with how it works technically at this point.

I would also like to use it for an entry page into a group of related forum sites. It would have it's own URL but would draw content from different installations of vbulletin with different urls. They are all installed on the same set of servers.

Can this be done? Would I have to use RSS or XML or can the CMPS pick up the info directly from the database?

You can create as many modules as you wish - they can pick up the RSS feeds from your other vB sites. The only issue is that the log in details to the site where you run CMPS won't be the same as those on your other vB sites...
