Tracking outbound hits

Does the links directory track outbound hits ... ? For example, if I were to click on the home page link in the directory listing, would that be logged for stats purposes?

Is it possible to pull stats by user catagory?

Perhaps to better explain, if I had catagories for restraunts I would like to be able to show potential advertisers stats for potential advertisements.

The only type of stats it really tracks is hits on the links.
Not entirely sure what you mean by stats by user category...

I was thinking that if I set up a catagory, it could tell me the total # of hits for the links in that catagory. (should be simple to query but figured I would ask).

Shouldn't be too hard to add. If you're fairly familiar with PHP you shouldn't have any problems, but if you need some help just let me know.
