Thread toolbar too wide after CMPS added to forum pages

I have read through the messages on using the "add CMPS sidebars to all pages" hack but still have one problem I haven't seen solved. The toolbar is wider than the content. It is the content which appears too narrow. I saw another member mention they fixed this but without details. The threads on this were full of so many topics I decided to post a new one.

IIRC, you need to remove the $spacer_open and $spacer_close variables from your postbit template.

Worked great. If I may...

Underneath that is the lower "Post Reply" button, Posting Rules and forum jump menu. These are also narrower than the content.

Do you know where the $spacer_open and $spacer_close reside which I might remove for this area? I imagine one of the postbits but I can't seem to find it.

Curious - what is IIRC?

I believe those would be in your 'SHOWTHREAD' template.
