Does this links program have a reciprocal manager, meaning if they don't put a reciprocal link and/or banner on their site, the link won't get listed on the links site? If not, is it in the works? Thanks!

Currently, no. There is a good chance that this will be an option in the next version though.

Sorry, but at this point we do not have any kind of ETA on when it might be released.

We do need a reciprocal script put into this, thats the only reason i'm hlding back on buying vbadvaced links. And another is only allowing PayPal when buying it.

hrm, what is the point paying $$ for a links script to benefit who?

I agree, it needs some form of checking for a recip link, afterall, you can find many PHP scripts that have this built in already. Though I purchased this program along with others, I'm starting to learn that people start nice add-ons and hacks, collect a bit of money and while working on other hacks and mods that bring them more money, or the hopes of, then let their original products go down hill with very slow updates or none at all. Just my opinion as all you have to do is look at the last activity for updates. Thanks, rg sends!

A reciprocal link manager should defenately be added. And I think that a toplist display option (or just toplist mode as default) should also be added.

What exactly do you mean by a reciprocal link manager? Can you give me an example of what it would be used for?

Let's say that during the first month of using vbalinks I have setup 100 link trades. When webmasters added their link they told vbalinks where they placed the link to my site, the exact url. After some time I'd like to find out if all my 100 link trades are still active without manually having to check each link trade. So, there should be a button to click that would automatically check all reciprocal link urls to see if it can find my url (mydomain.com?) on the recip urls, and I should be notified about the recip links that don't have the link to my site (the link might have been removed by the webmaster, his server could be down, or perhaps he moved the link to another page). So, there should also be an easy way to manually check the recip link url and to contact the webmaster.

Of course it would also be good to know if a webmaster has added my link to his site before he can even add his link to my site. I know that there are also scripts that have a link checker that checks the recip link before the webmaster can add his link to my site, so during the process of adding a link. If the script cannot find the link to my site on the recip url that the webmaster gave then he won't be able to add his link and will be notified that he should put the link in place before he adds it. So most ideally the vbalinks recip link manager would have both features.

Perhaps other people who need this feature can add anything to this? I'm not sure if I've mentioned everything there's to it.

Paragraph 1 - Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Status Reports
Change the "Check for" select field to "Reciprocal links".

Paragraph 2 - Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Modify Settings => Add Links Options => Reciprocal Link Check

Both are default options/features in v2.0. ;)

Okay that's great. I am not using vbalinks yet so I didn't know :)

What would be nice is to be able to list the links based upon the hits they have sent back to you. I would like a way to reward those that send us traffic. Showing their link higher is a fairly easy way. (I think) :D

All in all, V2.0x is great, and i very much feel I got my moneys worth.

Exactly, that's what I meant with the toplist function
