listing problems

someone just submitted a link by me with title as site.com and then, url
I approved, and to my surprise, in the adv_portal latest link, it displayed as ... (no name, just 3 dots). I removed the .com part from name, and name displayed.

I think it's because the name was very long. blblablaetcblablalblalbla.com

How long exactly?

much longer than the 20 characters cutoff. one word:
griffinscornerscafe.com
So what I did was editing the name to Griffins Corners Cafe

So this is only happening in the 'Last Link' section of the category view? If so, then this is intended behavior. The same would happen with a thread that was all one word and longer than the same limit with your vB forum home.

that was happening in the adv_cms latest links module. I use a narrow table space of 130 pixels so I set up the max characters at 20 directly in that module, cause, those users of mine would manage to fit in an entire description, like a journal as title.
