Images like Attacthments.

Okay im having a problems with images messing up my template. So i was wondering besides users using the attatchment part how do i make pictures they use come up small and when users click the pic it will become normal size example below.

There's not an easy way to do that without either using attachments or only using images that will fit on the screen.
