View Full Version : cmps_index.php loads with blank page

Hey.
We installed vbadvanced cmps 1.0.1 on our forum recently.
And can't get it to work.

It all instlaled without problems, but when i or anyone else points to the cmps_index.php file the page stops for a while (browser shows that it is loading) then just stops, goes to a blank white screen, and the browser says done.

I've tried changing the skins then going to it, reinstlaling a few times, etc.
The chdir setting in the cmps_index.php file is setup correct (i've tried loads of combinations).

So can anyone help? I'm thinking it's a server problem but not really sure. :(

edit: btw, i've had the page load a couple times, then after clicking something else or refreshing it won't come back.

And i've just noticed that in internet explorer i get "the page cannot be displayed" rather than the blank page i get in firefox.

i have the same problem, but it loads for me,, just not my users :(

i just don't understand :| it works for me, so i can't really troubleshoot the problem :confused:

nvm, i just submitted a support ticket, id say thats yoru best bet ;)

In Loco's case it was due to some white space after the closing ?> tag in one of his module files. Try turning off each module you have which was not included with the CMPS until your page is displayed again and you should be able to narrow it down to which module is creating the problem. If that doesn't help, please submit a support ticket and I will have a look at things.

I got it working by turning off the news.
So there's a problem with that.
I have no idea how to fix it...so i'll submit a support ticket.

nothing like throwing up a huge red flag (a website) promoting illegal filesharing.. ;)

everything on the site is legal. we spend a lot of time modding out download links and crack discussion to keep it that way. ;)
