How do I add blocks?

I just need blocks with a few text links to other pages and spnsors. How do I do this?

I dont have a strong coding background.

Is there any known problems with vbulletin 3.5.0 RC3 and adding blocks? If I try to add a simple block it appears full width, if I deselect Use Module Shell Template then its size is ok, but the bullet and arrow image is missing?

Are you adding a template module? If so, make sure you are adding a <tr><td> and </td></tr> code in there.
