I am not sure I am following you. Almost all of my modules are HTML. What do you mean, "and to be displayed as html ofcourse and not html code "

Sorry if I was unclear,,, what I mean is if I want to add articles , not news to the main portal page and want it to appear in a module in the center and the text should be formated using html code

Just create a template and add whatever you wish. Then create a module that pulls that template and have it display in the center column.

Can't you have it displayed on the left or right? I created a template, added the content then created the module but it is not showing up on the portal.
