I'm not sure if it has been suggested or not, but how about a count down option for the portal page? I use a script for my site to do the count down, http://www.sportbikers.net (http://www.sportbikers.net/). It would be nice if it's something built in to VBAdvanced portal software and use VB's calendar data. :)
