i did a search first! honest! :D
vbulletin version : 3.0.7
php version : 5
problem : We get a blank page
1. we did everything, exactly what it said on the readme_vba_cmps page
2. we tried every possible solution we found on the forum
it would be different if we at least get an error. but everytime we run the install script we just get a blank page.
and i recently just installed vbcmps on 2 websites successfully! i'm stumped.
any help is surely appreciated. thanks in advance!

And you're going to cmps_index.php now instead of index.php?

It sounds as if rammbs is having the exact same problem I am; specifically, that he is attempting to run the unstall script: vbacmps_install.php and is getting nothing but a a blank page.
My apologies for "cross-pollination" of threads; however, please see my post in the following thread for reference:
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?p=44791#post44791
My (production) environment follows:
- vBulletin v3.0.7
- MySQL v4.1.7-nt
- Apache2 v2.0.54 (Win32)
- PHP v5.0.4
- Win2K3 Server Enterprise (SP1)
Thank you very much.

Check your server error log. You'll find the error message in there.

I'm not really sure why you would be having a problem, though I would suspect that it's something to do with PHP5. If either of you would like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look and see what the problem is.

No errors are listed, whatsoever, in my (Win32) Apache2 webserver log...

Surely, I cannot be the only person experienceing this problem...

The thing is it's a very vague problem. It's difficult to nail things down without an actual error message, which you're not getting. I assume the source of the blank page you're getting is <html><body></body></html> ? Suggest you submit the ticket to Brian and let him actually access your server to have a look. I'm surpirsed there's no error reported in your logs. Maybe check you php info and see if error reporting/loggin is turned on. If you can get the error to report it's probably a really simple fix.
