removing the branding

I feel really stupid having to ask this but I'm a complete n00b, so please bare with me =)

I paid to be able to remove the branding from my website but I have no idea how to actually remove it. Would anyone be willing to give me a step by step on how to do this? (as simple as you can make it please )

Admin CP => Languages & Phrases => Search in Phrases

Search for 'vBadvanced', find the phrase that contains the copyright text (only a few results should be returned), and edit the phrase.
