Font size in thread display with vBa

Hi I am displaying 1 thread as a big news story on a page and
I decided to display using <smallfont> everything is great but
when the story shows up whenever there is formating like:

LIST or INDENT etc. the fonts revert to the default size.

Any ideas how I could maintain the chosen font formating regarless
of the thread formating?

I belive lists are defined with your other classes, so about the only way would be to change that class globally.
