View Full Version : Having Trouble Intergrating...How do I?
I want to integrate and have my forums INSIDE the cmps portal.
This is a needy request so I dont exactly know how to do this. I want the link on my navbar that says "forums" to bring me to the forum index, but have the right and left colomb modules from cmps there. I am new to vbulletin and I dont know quite well enough about cmps to figure this out. If somone could explain this easy enough for somone stupid to understand how to do that would be great. Thanks.
my site is: socom.com (http://socomspot.com)

I integrated my forum index into my cmps. It worked well. Now I am trying to get rid of the cpanels which were on my original forum index page. (It shows a welcome, active user, and stats module.) Since that info is already on my cmps page, I don't need it doubled. Any thoughts?
can you show a link please?
My actual page is http://www.thebasicconnection.com
the link (with the problem) is pointing to /eforums. That's what I renamed my forum directory when loading. Im going to want to change that too.

Notice the two modules. I got the template off of vbulletin.com
It looks like that you need to either edit your forumhome template or forumdisplay. It would help a lot if you could remember and find the hack that you have installed, or give me a link to the post with that side bar hack. That way you can follow the instructions backward and uninstall that sidebar hack.
The column didn't come with a hack. It was actually a style that I loaded off of vbulletin.com call blue emerald. But I did take your advice and edited my forumhome page. Actually, I cut and pasted my default style to my blueemerald style. (After making a copy of it). Bingo. That did it but now my forum index is stretching my center column more than I want. I've tried adjusting the size under the 'edit page' in cmps. Any other suggestions?
Here's what it looks like at this point
