I've got to say this really is a terrible answer.
I just recently installed vBadvanced on a new domain and got this. I will see what I can do to figure out where I made the mistake and post a real solution.

That is a real solution. You made a mistake in the edits. The best way to fix that is using a unmodified file and starting over.

Also be sure that you are editing your files with Notepad and not Dreamweaver or any similar programs.

Actually its not correct.
While I am sure there are MULTIPLE causes for this, and not just one.
Turns out in my case, the install script didnt work for some reason. All I did was re-run the installer and bam it worked perfectly.
Automatically chalking it up to user error in editing a file is not a good way to support people... I mean in all reality as Brian can tell you, you can dig through and figure out where the error is, sure its time consuming but it can be done, and doing it one time and documenting it here benefits everyone because they can find the solution rather than "re-edit the files".
I know how time consuming supporting something like this can be, I support a massive project myself, and vBadvanced makes it much easier for me, but I just get a little unnerved when people use an answer like 'start over'.

However, in my case, and numerous others, it is generally a editing error.. Considering the install takes all of what, 4 minutes, an easy fix is to recheck the edits and run the install again.
