I understand taht CMPS allows for the creation of a homepage. However Im more of a creating on my own person. In fact, I already have a homepage from my other forum software that I would like to use without using this CMPS software.

Isnt there just a way to take my existing index.php homepage, and making calls (i.e php include <path to calender file> or <show how many users are online) or any other file?

Id rather not use this cmps system. Just use includes to call the appropriate information that I want on my homepage, inside tables.

Hope that makes sense...

Thanks

Your best bet would be to use the CMPS and then just customize things to look the way you would like.

do you have to have the navbar on the homepage? I have my own navbar written in HTML i want to use?

No, there is an option to turn everything besides the header and footer off and everything is template based so it's very easy to customize as long as you know HTML.

sweet, then I guess I'll try it out!

One last question... can you modify the boxes in any way? Because on my current homepage Im still using (ubb 6.3) I have little icons on the boxes. My homepage I wrote all in html.

check out the screenshot. Is it possible to use these icons in the vbcmps system?
