Please create a working shoutbox for 3.0.7!

I just wanted to voice a request that many people have been asking for lately.

None of the existing shoutboxes work properly on 3.0.7. I have tried installing the two main scripts (GeekyDesign and that one that is ported from v2) and they do not work at all. I don't know what to do next, because no one seems to be able to help out at all in the threads.

It would be really nice if CMPS had a standard module that allowed a user to easily add it into their site.

Many, many people have gotten GeekyDesign's Shoutbox 1.04b up & running with no problems on vB 3.0.7 and even with CMPS. Have you tried posting on the GeekDesigns site directly for help?
