I installed Vbadvanced and now the home page comes up with no news
section in the middle and I cant seem to get to the forums unless I click
on a users name and find all posts from this user or something like that.
The Forum link doesnt work...

Here is a Link to the site.
Servants of the Jinn (http://www.servantsofthejinn.com/vb/)

I searched the forums, i must have missed the solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have your forum in the vb folder? Did you replace the forum index.php with the one from vBAdvanced?

Yes, the Forum is in the /VB directory.
I did replace the index.php with the cmps_index.php
I made a backup of the original index.php and then renamed the
cmps_index.php to index.php

Thanks for the response.

You can not put the cmps_index.php in the forums directory and rename it index.php or the forums will not work.

You'll have to reupload your forum index.php to the forums directory and rename your cmps_index.php to whatever you'd like in order for your forums to work again.

Yes you can. If you go into admincp and change name call for the forums index.php to be called say "forums.php" you can then use the cmps_index.php as the index.php and the vbindex.php as forums.php
