i have no clue what so ever how to do so

yuh i tried that

i made a news forum with the

did a test post

went to the deafualt settings

the ID to the forum is 294

typed it in and nothin shows :/

Do you have forum 294 hidden from regular users? I just signed up and couldn't find the forum id anywhere.

also make sure you have the module active after you added it

vBa Options -> Edit Modules and make sure the news is active.

u no the top menu on the main page that has memberslist , home etc

what file is that , i want to add the forum link to it

It is the Navbar template.
If you are having problems displaying news in a forum where they should be visible go to admincp / maintanance / update counters / rebuild thread info.

Yea, i even checked for him, I couldn't see a problem in his set up anywhere, unless he didn't do a file edit right or something? I honestly have no clue

Which forum is your news forum...? Does this forum have the right permissions to be seen by all usergroups? If not, no news items will show on CMPS.

hard to say exactly.. He didnt have anything in the Module Identifier space, so I put news in there. Worked.
