Hello,
Iīm planning to migrate my phpbb forum to vbulletin3+cmps+gallery+links modules.
What do you recommend for this? Install vbulletin and migrate, and then cmps+gallery+links? Or install everything and then migrate the forum?
Thanks
Carlos

Honestly I don't see why it would make a difference one way or the other. If it was me though I'd probably get the forum up and running first and then install the vBa scripts. That may be the best as well since you'll have an easier time getting support if anything goes wrong with the import.

I donīt know if that makes the difference in one way or another, and thatīs because I need your oppinions. I donīt want to do all the job and find some problems on the migration process and lose everything.
My question is basically technical. So youīd migrate the forum and then install CMPS, Gallery, etc.
Thanks

I just recently did the exact same thing you are doing for a friend. This is what I did.
1: Created a new clean database & Installed vBulletin.
2: Installed Impex & imported the phpbb database into the vb database.
Note: Leave your phpbb forums and database online incase you run into issues! I would recommend a week.
3: Installed CMPS and went live.
Then if you are going to install vbaGallery & vbaLinks you can do it at this time.
