I've just upgraded-

-Receiving this error when loading index page:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php on line 297

-Also, all of my forums have been shut off

-Please note that the upgrade install produced a blank page when going on to step 2. I waited for ten minutes and still blank (plus the browser didn't look like it was still "thinking" so I figured the install was not going to go any further before I closed it)
Looks like the install was never completed?

And are you using any custom modules? If so, try disabling those to see if the error still shows up.

Yes-

Will go over and follow steps again to make sure (this will be third time)

EDIT- I've gone back in to the install and chosen to update templates only, this fixed the 'forums turned off' error , however I'm still getting an error on line 297

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php on line 297

Looks like some modifications had to be made to the install file by Brian.
I downloaded the new install file (which he has already updated in the download section)

Uninstalled, reinstalled and everything seems to be working now.

Thank you all for the quick fix.
Brian, thank you oustanding!

Hmmm... It looks like it's having a problem with the settings that can be set on a specific page. Try editing your 'Default / Homepage' page and just save it.

Just to let you know Brian, editing my home page, and saving it fixed the foreach() error on line 297

Thanks.

I'm getting this error too and I can't understand the instructions to fix it!

What do I edit on the homepage?

HELP!

edit: don't worry.. fixed now. I didn't realize that all I had to do was just save it.

Thanks, I had this issue as well and my first attempt threw up and error, but then I went and re-edited all the settings again and now it's fine...

Make sure when you edit the page that you set everything correctly ;)

I have the same error. I edited and resaved Adv_portal (i assume that is what you mean when u say "homepage") and i still have the error.

Ideas?

Me either. Have to select the default forum template. I supposed this change fixed everything.
