REQ: A Modification for Merging Modules

I will post this today, I started working on it and have most of it done. I'll post the module and the php file.

Here is what I have so far, right now I'm trying to figure out how to add the birthdays to this module, but am still working on it.

Right now this module integrates both the welcome block and the stats together, I have attached the .module file so that you can upload it, if it didn't work right, I have attached both the modules php and template file so you can install manually. Also a screenshot of how I did it, you can always change the template.

if I use this do I add the welcomblock.php in the /modules/ dir and
simply add /edit the appropriate styles etc.?

I added /editted the welcome style data.
uploaded the welcomebloakc.php to my modules dir. but I am uncertain as to where the
wellcomeblock.module goes at this point any pointers?

no no the .module file will install the module for you automatically, you have to upload it through your admin panel.

I added those 2 extra files (php and the template file) incase if the .module file didn't work properly or if it caused any errors, that way you will get a chance to look at the original files and go over it manually.

so first try only by uploading the .module file, if didn't work right, then go ahead and install manually using the php and template file.
