View Full Version : Upgraded to 2 and now can't close forum
Site was working fine. Upgraded tonight from the last release to the latest 2 and it turned on my site although It was still turned off in the cp. The SITE UNAVALAIBLE text at the top of the index is missing.
I think I need to give the index page a second look.
Any ideas please?
Every other thing is fine. Thanks.
I did replace the index with the latest after modifying chdir
VB 306
No hacks in Cmps/VB
I have done searches and it looks like a problem unique to me
Will appreciate pointers.
Thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do? turn your forums back off or turn them on?
It sounds as if they are already back on if the text telling you they are off is gone.
Or are you looking for this?
Check Admin cp -> VbOptions -> Turn your Vbulletin On and Off (very first option)
Thanks for your response.
I do know where to turn the forum off/on, hopefully, with 4 VB licences! :)
Right now, it is OFF in the CP and this has no effect. Members are on posting.
I turned it off to upgrade and right after the upgrade, I noticed the message was missing, although the cp indicated the site should be off.
It came on without any change in the cp or me turning it on.
That's my problem. Switching back and forth now makes no difference.
Maybe I shoud just revert to the version that worked fine for my site...
Found and fixed the problem.
My oversight.
Thanks.

I saw the same behavior. Installing vBadvanced CMPS v2.x turned my forum back on. Just had to go in and turn it back off.
