How many of you will upgrade to the new vBAdvanced 2.0?
I sure am since you will no longer need to edit the templates to add new articles. CMS + Portal = Peanut Butter + Jelly.

I'm satisfied with the current script, but then I've just got it up and running .. guess I'll be watching this forum to read what you all think about the new one.

Well obviously I've upgraded this site. ;)
My other site will be upgraded eventually, but I'm still running vB Beta 7 there so I'll be waiting until I upgrade the forum as well.

I am giving this program serious consideration. Once we work out the few bugs I am experiencing, my Branding Free License fee is in the mail, or whatever method of payment will be accepted.

Very nice work so far.

I will always upgrade to newest. This was you stay up2date with the latest technology, and it also helps the script creators iron out bugs!!

The CMPS is much easier for novice users. You can move the modules around without having to modify any templates, plus there are many more options for creating new pages such as setting usergroup permissions and the ability to set a different value for each default setting on a per-page basis. ;)

sounds cool.....i will install it on my test forum and have a play around. I know it will be good if vba is anything to go by though :) :)

I got it installed today (thanks for the very prompt installation), and couldn't be more pleased. All of the stuff that used to be hand coded, is now much easier to change, and I even added three hacks this afternoon without any problems. It's a very nice addition to my site, and a big hit with my users.

Hold on, hold on...

so vBadvanced is no longer developed because of the new vBadvanced 2.0, a.k.a. C.M.P.S., right?
And do you recommend updating to C.M.P.S. now (RC2) or when Final is released? Good thing I didn't update on RC.
