View Full Version : How long does it take for staff to install?

Well, I was just wondering how long it takes for the staff to install vbAdvanced on to members' servers? I paid for the service two days ago and am waiting for it to be installed. Had I known it would take this long, I would have done it myself. Having left a couple of responses without another response from the staff (originally one of the staff members had a question, to which I responded), I am getting a little anxious.

Thanks.

You shall think that they are also human and they have other business also. In your purchase if you didn't supply all the information it may take a couple days for them to respond. Take Care

Now wait just a second. I wasn't complaining. It's called service. You pay for a service. I figured this is their business. I didn't know what the custom was, if this was something that was the usual practice or not. I was just trying to get some feedback so I was aware.

There is no timeframe posted on the website from what I can tell on how quickly they install the software. Perhaps I should have inquired before. That being said, I posted about three responses and haven't heard back yet, so it was making me a bit anxious. I can understand people have other things to do in their life, but I paid for the service. So, I think I can entitled to ask a question.

Thanks.

You happen to be requesting this service on the heels of two major releases, so they are going to be inundated with requests. Normally it's within 24 hours from what I've seen/read in the past, but with the new version of Gallery and CMPS released the requests for installs increases dramatically.

Ah, I see. Well that would explain some things. Thanks for letting me know!

I apologize for the delay. As ConqSoft said, with 2 major releases in the same day the number of installs has been 3-4 times the number we usually have. I've just accepeted the ticket though and you should be all set up in just a couple of minutes. I will reply to the ticket once it's done.

Hi Brian, with reference to reading the above I also am not pressing anyone for installation as I only placed my order yesterday. My ticket is assigned to Zachery.

I just wondered if there are still any backlogs of work and your approximate timescale at the moment. Even if it's a week or two etc. it's just handy to know in advance.

I was just thinking of giving my members an announcement of the new feature coming their way.

thanks very much

I would assume that Zachery should be getting to the ticket shortly after he gets online today. If he's not able to within the next couple of hours or so please post here again and I will take the ticket over and finish up the install for you.

Hi Brian, thanks for the quick reply and no problem.

Just wondered do you offer an install service for the portal as it might be just as well for me to pay for you guys to do that also.

If so I am happy to pay up if you want to do both at the same time as I don't know if one should be done before the other.

just advise if so and i'll credit some more paypal.

Yes, we do offer installation service for the CMPS as well. If you follow the same links as you did with the gallery then you will see the options to purchase our install service and/or branding free option the same as you did with the gallery. It can also be installed at any time and while it would be slightly easier to install both at the same time, it doesn't make any difference which is installed first.

also not complaining, just asking:

I have purchased an installation service for cmps 2.0 for vbulletin 3.5 RC3 on September 8. September 9 the ticket was asigned to Zachery. Since then nothing happened and no information or contact was received about the service.

I've purchased the install service on September 9. But after a while (since nothing happened with the ticket), I started trying installing it myself. After quite some time I had it working.

So 'replied' to my supportticket that I've already done it myself, but would like Zachery to check my installation, so that I know that it's done allright.

Today it's September 18 and my ticket is still open. Does it mean that nothing has been checked or done???????
