The Final Mess

I think my forums have come to their end, here is the mess:

I had the typical login/logout problems, i cleared my cookies so when i go to my page again, i must write the username ans pass again cuze it doesnt remebmer me.

But the problem is still happening so i cant login even into the admincp!!

Any solutyon but reinstalling all? :(

What did you do to try to fix them? Just installing the CMPS wouldn't affect your ability to log into the admin cp.

no, but it prevents me of the ability of login, so if y clrar my cookies, i cant login anymore :(

i try to log in the admincp and it tells me login succesfull, but after that, it takes me to the login screen again! so i cant edit anything! have i lost my forum?

Have you tried another webbrowser?
Have you tried to clean all cookies from your system manually?
Have you tried to change the cookie settings for your board directly in the database with phpMyAdmin for example?

If not then do so first before giving up :D

I am having the exact same problem. I changed the cookie path to .mydomain and now I cannot log into my Admin CP...it says Welcome but then goes right back to the login screen.

I got my self a mess.

I was having no prolblems until I logged out in FireFox and then tried to log back in and it wouldn't work. then I changed the cookie path, deleted cookies etc adn now i can't get back into my admin CP.

What do I do now?

I opened a trouble ticket. I'm kinda screwed right now. I screwed up the cookie path and now no cookies are registering at all.

ok, i fixed the problem of not being able to log in to the site at all...

and it has fixed the issue of not being able to log into the cmps.

i re-uploaded the vba_cmps_admin.php in ASCII and things are smooth

Yo...the vb Team fixed the problem for me. Whew!

Now I can again login to my Admin CP and now the cookies work fine in all the browsers I was testing. Go figure.
