How Do I Display Columns in Forum without Effecting CMP's Page

How do I display right or left columns in forum without effecting CMP's page.
I played with the instructions in the link below but it still makes a left column in my cmp page.

Is it possible to use the information from vb.com http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101599 to enter the info I want instead of this way it is mention here. I want it not to effect the CMP page thats all. I got some problems trying to get module images to work right.

I sort of want to add to every page instead of the one. Is this the only way or do I need add a page to every thing. I want to make it the vbulletin.com does it cause then it does not bugger any of my modules images.

I did the way it looks but I get broken images in module & the image url is off
