View Full Version : Scrolling-Affiliates-Module won't display on the right
Hi.I've just added a scrolling-affiliates module under the <add module>,<add template module>.however when it's done, the link modules don't turn up on the right side where i wanted it.instead,it turns up right at the bottom, below the center modules-<archives>,even though i had clicked it to be on the right.Could someone tell me where did i go wrong?

I just logged into your site with the info you gave me in your PM to take a look at things. It looks like your Default / Homepage page was somehow parented to a page that never existed. I changed that and it seems to have taken care of those errors.
It looks like the problem you're having with your affiliates module is a result of the flash chat module you have. If you turn that module off then things work as they should.

If you have this same module as I

Then you can put any module above it but not below it. Anything you put below it will go to the bottom no matter what you do..

It WORKS!!Thank you very much Brian and Racejunkie! :D

I have moved it from top to middle to bottom and left to right. Works perfectly.

mholtum u need to remove that link to that site as u can see that it is against the rules to post XXX links here, maybe that is why geo 1 never place a link to the site he/she owns.

We should probably edit that rule... If you're trying to get some help and need to post a link to an adult site then that is fine, we just ask that you put something like "NOT WORK SAFE" above the link so that those browsing from their work will not accidentally click on the link.
What ever the fix was, can someone please let me know. I also have problems with certain modules dropping to the bottom of the page. Not one specific module but modules which are manually added. You can see that i added the latest link module and it forced my chat module to the bottom. But it's not that module in particular that's causing the problem since I have had other modules do the same thing.

(Once the page is loaded, you're going to have to refresh it to see the chat module. I have no idea why)

Thank mholtum!
"10: Use Module Shell Template - No"
That setting was in the thread you posted. After much searching, that solved my problem of the modules dropping and stretching across the bottom of the page.
