What exactly do you mean by menu? Something like the navbar at the top, or another module (one of the "blocks" like latest threads, stats, etc)?
If you're trying to add another module, just create a new template called "adv_portal_whatever" with the content you would like in it. Then use the option called "Add Module" under your vBadvanced CMPS options in your Admin CP. If you read the descriptions for the options there you shouldn't have a problem adding one. If you do or you have any questions though just let me know. :)

ok, I got it created but I can't get it to show up. I made sure its active in the cmps panel. I named it "adv_portal_navigation" and tried just placing some text into it but it won't show up at all.

Go to "Edit Pages", modify your "Homepage / Default" page, and make sure it's enabled there. That *should* be the only other thing that would prevent it from being displayed. If that still doesn't work and you would like to fill out a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look.

I'm having the same problem also. I made the adv_portal_navagation template and made the nessessary changes to make a module but it won't show up.

Would you mind filling out a support ticket through the Members Area so I can have a look?

Brian, don't have time to deal with this anymore tonight but tomorrow I'll fill out a support ticket on it.

Brian, I opened a ticket on this.
well you might have done what I did, when making the module it asks for the template name. I was putting adv_portal_navigation, when all I was supposed to put was links. I guess it assumes the rest. So the first way it did not show up, the second way it does.

thats exactly what I did. I changed it to just navigation instead of "adv_portal_navigation" and now its functional. Thanks Zedd ;)
No problem, I guss it helps if we actually read the little box of instructions that are there :)
