View Full Version : STRANGE permission problem... please help

Hi I have a strange problem after all installed, when I go to my page:

http://www.BLABLABLA.org/nci/homepage/index.php?page=nci

I get this message:


root, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.



how can I fix this?

Did you set the permissions on that page correctly? Is it giving you this message on all CMPS pages, or just the new one you created?

Im having this same problem, but it only happens with custom usergroups that I have created. All other usergroups seem to work fine.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Default / Homepage

Check there and make sure those groups have permission to view the page.

After more messing around I was able to get the page to display, but none of the modules would display. The permission are set properly on the modules, they just wont show for the 2 custom usergroups I have created.

The only way I have been able to view them is to check "registered users" as an Additional Usergroup under the user manager in vBulletin. If I dont do this none of the modules will show.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't work properly if you have your permissions set correctly. If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here though I'll be glad to take a look.

Yeah seems like everything's correctly setup on mine and it still does not display. I would like to show pages to unregistered users :(

Was this fixed via the ticket? I added a custom group and am getting the same error.
