Custom Content for Dummies

The whole modules/templates/pages is throwing me off.

Under "Site Navigation" (which is a module correct?)
I want subcategories. Under the subcategories I want static pages. The pages will all have the same format, but the data will be different.

Could somebody give me some insight on how to do this...

Just add the "category" in the site navigation module and fill out every field except for the URL field. Then add your other links below that and give them a level of 2.
