Broken breadcrumbs / navbit

I installed the links directory above/outside my forums folder. Everything seems to be working fine, with the exception of the breadcrumbs. Instead of the folder icons and linked breadcrumbs, I have a broken image and no breadcrumb links.

The breadcrumbs work correctly in my forums folder.

I'm at a loss to figure this one out, and would truly appreciate any help in fixing it.

Seems to be working fine for me, so I'm assuming you figured out the problem?

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately I haven't been able to fix the problem, and it still appears as described. I attached a partial screencap showing what I'm talking about, since it was difficult to explain.

The big red arrow in the screencap points to the problem as seen in IE. I also found that in Firefox the area is blank, with no broken image.

Any ideas?
