Forum home link on CMPS page?

I'm looking to put a link either on the Navbar or in the Navigation menu that will take users directly to the Forum Home pages. I'm getting folks asking how to just drop from the CMPS to the main page without having to click through the new posts or into another menu item and then back to the main forum page.

I'm sure its a simple solution, but I'm just not finding it in the manual.

Ideally I'd also like the header image to dump to the main foum page as it does in the forums themselves. If I click on the header image on the CMPS page it takes me back to the CMPS page. If I modify the template to point to the forum page, it then breaks that link in the forums.

www.mysite.com/index.php is the CMPS page format and
www.mysite.com/forums/index.php is the actual forum index.

Is there an easy way to provide a link to the forum index on the CMPS page? When I take it live, there will be an automatic link from the Forum BACK to teh CMPS page as I have a footer link to the main site index. (Which will be the CMPS page when we take it live.)

I'm sure its a simple solution, but I'm just not seeing it currently. Any help would be appreciated.
