Can't post news??

where do i type which thread to display as news, or which forums to mark as news?!?

Edit the News module.

the screenshot i posted ABOVE is from the page i get when i edit news module.

but when I "edit page" then i get these fields
News Options

News Forum ID
The ID number of your default news forum. To display threads from more than one forum, enter a list of forumids seperated by commas. Example setting: 1,4,9

There should be a list of all your forums, and you highlight the one(s) you want it to pull news from.

Ok guys i figured it out. I had set the News Posts Maximum on 0(unlimited), now as i set it on 3 it worked.

and to everyone else troubling out there IT IS NOT "EDIT MODULE". IT IS "EDIT PAGES2, THEN U CLICK ON "Default / Homepage"

When you go to the Edit Module page, you click on the News module link (the title) to get to the properties. Near the bottom, you'll see the News Options section.

The one under Edit Pages sets the new options for that page, so you only want to do that if you are setting up multiple pages, pulling different news. When you do it under Edit Modules, you are editing the default settings.
