With this, it automatically starts to download, without even hitting play?

Is there anyway to save bandwidth, and make it so it doesn't download until I hit play?

I second that.

/me attempts to install it on vB 3.5.

OK, so it worked!

Had to remove this from the end of the adv_portal_video1 template though...

Otherwise it will break up the page. Nice work! Are you going to, or can I release this in the 3.5 forum?

Its up at my site - http://www.onlinewarfare.net

I only use it for recordings not video at the moment

Any chance of some code for Firefox and Opera users? I have defaulted mine to only start when play selected..

But for Firefox and Opera users it auto starts.. which I think is going to annoy them soon.

Currently I'm using the module posted above by scr2000ge, I edited so that it won't automatically start playing (both in IE and in FF).

However I have a different problem with it. When I scroll up or down, the balck screen stretches (both up and down) and leaves black squares on the different modules, like you see in the screenshots.

Does anybody know a way to solve this problem?

Also is there a way to give the user a choice of several video's to play?

I made a module with a flash video player which works pretty well as basic as it may be...

leducq...

First you would need to get the Wimpy WASP FLV Player (wimpyplayer.com) or a similar flash video player.

Then I could give you instructions on making the module like I have.
