Hello --

I have vb 3.0.7 and the lastest vbadvanced. I have vb installed in a subdirectory /forum so I have the vbadvanced index.php in the root directory. Everything works great and I even added the Home/Forum link in the nav bar per this thread:

http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41

Anyway, the links in the nav bar on the front vbadvanced index.php page don't work. They go to example.com/register.php instead of example.com/forum/register.php.

However, when I go the forums page then the nav bar links work fine. The links also work fine within the page, such as "Register Now" link on the vbadvanced page does work and takes you to www.example.com/forum/register.php

I have double checked the URL settings in my vb admin CP and the forum URL is set to www.example.com/forum and my site URL is set to www.example.com so those look right to me.

I don't know why the links on the nav bar on the front page don't work but the links work everywhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Um, hm, it seems to work now. Ok, that is weird. If you could still test and let me know if everything looks ok, that would be great. Thanks again for you help!

Seems to be working fine. Probably just needed to have the settings cache updated.

Try saving your CMPS options. If that doesn't work, please post a link to your site.

I had the same problem. Took me messing and saving the settings a couple of times and suddenly it worked.
