vBgarage "Latest Uploads" on CMPS Page?

See attached image for a bad photochop of what I'm looking for.

I'd like the "Latest Uploads" preview section of images to be placed on my main page under the navbar. This is using the following versions of software:

vBulletin 3.0.7
vBGarage 4.1.0
vBadvanced CMPS v2.0 RC1

Any ideas on how to code something like this?

Maybe even something like this, with a smaller logo.

Just experimenting with placement. The code is the important part! Can anyone shed some light for me?

I suspect it would be as "simple" as lifting the code that does the latest pics on vbgarage.php and dumping that into a module on the Front page. I'm interested in doing the same, so if anyones done it some tips would be nice :0

Hi I am very interested in this particular hack, can anyone shed any light on this, I did however follow the hack which allows me to place this on my "forumhome" template, but i would like to stick it on the same place on the cmps home page.
