Ok, for some odd reason if I deactivate a module, it will not reactivate. In cmps admin it shows as active but will not show on pages. I even left it for several hours and still no reactivation. Modules that have done this are the original files....search module, quick moderation, buddy list and also one addon fading image block temp module. I had to delete everything and reinstall to get them back. So, I deactivated the quick moderation and the addon again to test and they still will not reactivate. Any ideas?

Did you edit the page it's supposed to be on, and make sure it's "checked"?

Ok, so once I reactivate it and save I must also reactivate it in the pages....I C Says the blind man. lol That was the problem, wow what headaches I could have avoided lol. Thanks once again.

Actually, no, deactivating it shouldn't turn off that checkbox on the pages. You must have unchecked it before you deactivated it? (I've deactivated/activated many times, and it has always worked fine with no additional changes.)

hmmm. all I did was deactivate them in edit modules. However, they were unchecked in the pages, without me actually doing it. Maybe I should do my deactivating/reactivating in the pages only not the edit modules section.....that may be the difference. Still pretty new to vBa but, I think I like it a lot. :)

When you deactivate your modules it automatically unchecks them. Hence the term deactivate.. ;)

When you're deactivating your modules, you're using the 'Active' button when editing the module, right? I just tried this and it's working fine for me...
