hi

anyone know why this is happening?

i created a BB code module so that i could display affiliate links...

text links work fine but when i try to add an image (for a button/banner say) and click save, it makes a clicking sound twice and when i check the page with the mudule on, the image has failed to appear, instead it just shows the path to the image. In the module options i have selected "allow BBcode" but once ive clicked save and go back to check it, it has reverted back to "dont allow BBcode"

can anyone help?

thanks

I have never used BB code modules. Have you tried to do it with a template module? If so, did it work?

Are you running RC1 by chance? If so, there is a post in the bugs forum regarding this, or you could upgrade to RC2 to solve the problem.

I dont know how, im not very good at installing and editing these files...
is it a case of reinstalling the who thing or just a few pages? to update

Ive found the bug thread now and ive fixed it anyway

no edits necessary.. Just upload the new files over the old files and run the install script. Click "upgrade" and you are done.

oh, that sounds quite easy... but does it overwrite any changes or customisations i may have made?

It will only overwrite code changes to the actual php files, if any, that you have made.
