First off, which is the newest version of cmps that isn't a beta? I'm asking this kinda like, the newest version of vbadvanced is 3.08, but they have a testing one that is 3.5.
Will it be really hard to upgrade to 3.5 if I have both a template I bought running and vBadvanced? So much so that it wouldn't be worth it?
And if I buy a template, is it easiest to install the template for my board first and then vbadvanced? Or should I install vbadvanced and then the template?
Thanks a bunch guys you all rock the casba.
p.s. will be buying the media thing eventually as well, seeing as I'm a site about videos.

CMPS v2 RC2 is the lastest release. There is one for vB 3.0.x and one for vB 3.5.x.
The latest non-beta/non-rc version of CMPS v1.01, but it will not work with vB 3.5.x.
You can install styles into vBulletin before/after/during; doesn't really matter. You may just have to edit the style to include the full path to all the images.

Which do you recommend dling? rc2, so that when I do upgrade to the latest (3.5) from vbulletin I can easily swap over? Also, does rc2 work really well? Like I just don't want it breaking on me easily.
And lastly, I may have to get back to that full path extensions thing lol. Cause I don't think I know what you're talking about. Maybe when I'm in there installing it I'll get it.

RC2 should be fine. I've been running it for a long time.

But it's not a style its a like a hack, its basically a bunch of template hacks. Will that matter?

Not sure what you mean.

Well if you aren't sure what I mean then that must mean that my question doens't matter. I thought that when you said styles you meant like color, and not like modifications to the way it looks.

Yeah, you were talking about buying a "template"; I assume you meant a style? That's what I was talking about...
