Do you happen to be using FireFox and have the AdBlocker extension? I've seen that behavior before, and it was caused by that. :)

When you click the 'Add Module' link, is it taking you straight to that page, or is it taking you to the page that asks which type of module you want to create first? If it's taking you straight to that page then you still have the modifications from 1.0.x done to your admincp/index.php file.

Open the readme file, read the section about upgrading, and make sure you have applied the file changes listed there.

what ive done is done a fresh install of 3.08 and then done the latest vBadvanced install where you modify global.php,index.php,adminfunctions_template.php so i don't have the origional stuff in there that i did with my earlier version vBadvanced so there are no things i should look for when upgrading.
I remember you had to modify alot of things last time i did it but i still don't know.
