I personally dislike the login box being at the top of every single page. A link would be alright, but those darn boxes...!

I prefer the NavBar login box, is always at hand to log in :). Of course that the login box is desactivated :)

I like the login box at the top.. and i agree having the login box in a block and in the header in the frontpage may not be the best idea...
