Distorted view

Hi,

I am using the default VBA CMPS, but whenever a new thread starts off with "Quote", I get the distorted view as shown. The right column merges with the new thread. If I remove the quotes, everything goes back to normal.

Anyone able to help me overcome this?

Don't use quote tags in your news posts.

That means I would have to made it known to members not to do that.

You allow your users to post news items? :) Then yes, you'll have to let them know...

Also, if the quote is longer than the number of characters you have displayed for the news test, then it will cause even more visual problems.

If you search the hacks forum then I know someone has posted a work-around for this as well.
