News, is there any way to post news that hasn't been posted in the forums?

The only way I've been able to post news is to make a thread in my forum then link to it via the url.

Is there some more way obvious and easier way to do it then that?

Nope, that's how you do it. Unless you just want to add a plain BBCODE module, and edit the content directly that way.

What would you recommend? Is it nicer to just link it to a forum page because then people can comment on it? By the way conq, how would you recommend putting google adsense into the site? I wanna just put a 468 x 80 banner right below where the sign in stuff is at, how would I do that?

See the part where it says GamingVidz.com and there is the login and password thing? Well I'd like to put a small two part google ad there, but I have no idea what part of the code that would need to be in for it work, but I feel it is the best spot to utilize the space.

ok, heh have you had much experience with adsense? I'm just trying to figure out how to do it best and if it will work and then to not display it at times to fit their requirements.
