I want to add a news page that is automatically updated (RSS is it?) on my front page (Well, a user clicks a link and it takes them to that page within my cmps site).

How would I go about it?

Exactly like that my friend, like the yahoo one but I may use the BBC. I know the url to the rss feed, just not how to set it all up in the cmps and what not.

Nice site too btw ;)

Thanks, ya the site is always a work in progress :)

Alright you can start with Feed2JS (http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/)

and you will also need Magpie (http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/)

I think that gives you the idea of how to use it.

It takes some time to setup...a lot of trial and error, but I am by no means an expert so others may have better ways.

It isn't really different then the others. I just like it cause I did it myself. Not sure how they are doing it. Mine is just an Ajax menu pulling pages I set up for the feeds.

I Don't Know that Could I find something inside this Forum using synonym words instead of exact words.
I searched for synonym words in http://www.google.com (http://www.google.com) and
http://www.boardexplorer.com (http://www.boardexplorer.com) and I found this Forum.
but inside the web site I could not find any intelligent search. you must know exact words to find similar topics
any Idea?

I didn't bother to repost my hack for 2.x because it works perfectly as is
