I have paying members and free area members.

If I do a sneek peek on the forums where the free members can view the forums for 24 hours, I change their membership status to sneek peek.

Well, once I do that, they log in and immediately get the "you don't have permission" error.

I thought it had something to do with the new style I just had installed but it isn't, I tried logging in using one of the members login info on both styles and the same thing comes up.

This is everyone that I havr switched over to the sneek peek membership.
I have checked all the permissions, masks, everything, nothing is wrong. They all say that that usergroup has all the correct permissions.
Tried this over at VB but I guess because I have hacks .....
Help?

TIA!
Cher

Have you edited your CMPS pages to make sure that your usergroups have permission to access those pages?

Ok, I did something wrong LOL
They can log in now but they do not see all of the modules, welcome block, advertising, etc.

Did you use the Quick Permissions Editor? That makes it easier to see/check all the permissions in one place.

permissions are set properly.
They can log in now, they don't see all the modules though. UGH!!!!! LOL

If you modified the permissions through the Quick Permissions Editor for your modules, go edit one of your modules and save it. There's a bug with the quick permissions section where the module cache isn't updated properly to reflect the changes, but saving a module will force the cache to be updated.

Ok, didn't realize you had to say yes to a usergroup on individual modules. It's working now. Thanks guys! I so much appreciate this place!!!!!
