Hello,

i use vb3.01 and will upgrade to 3.5 soon. I also want to upgrade the early 1.10 version of vbadvanced to the actual version.

Can you help me, how to do this? Do i need to uninstall 1.1 first? If, so: Where can i download an 1.1 version? I don't have the downloaded file and i also deleted the installation file, which i need to uninstall :(

Best regards, Wachtmeister

Upload the new files over the old, run the install script, choose upgrade.

DOH! I did an install vs. an upgrade. Now I can still see the old vBadvanced Homepage Settings in my Vbulletin Options...

Should I uninstall CMPS and re-do, or are there steps to manually yank the 1.1 stuff out now that cmps is already installed. I assume uninstalling CMPS isn't going to uninstall my 1.1 version, then when I come back to upgrade it might not like that?

Sorry... I shoulda read. Luckily I did this first on my test site, but I'd still like to recover from what I did.

Thx!

If you were running vBa Homepage just use the option in the install file to un-install it.

I uploaded the old advindex_install.php file and ran it... it gives me the option:

We're sorry you didn't like vBadvanced Homepage. Running this script will remove all settings and templates created.

Click here to uninstall -->

I click away, nothing happens.... none of the links work. Should this have been run before the VB upgrade?

I'm still stuck with all the old vbadvanced options in my admincp

Did you already upgrade to vB 3.5? If so then the uninstall script for vBa Homepage is not going to work.

Yup, that was my problem. I'm doing this on my demo site though so I can re-do it now and do the un-install prior to the upgrade and it should work.

Thanks!
